Client is a divorced 66-year-old elderly female client who is in need of a new manual wheelchair. She suffers from some chronic medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidaemia. She previously suffered a fall this year and was hospitalised, and ever since, has been having mobility issues and is unable to walk. She is frail and is unable to ambulate within her own home and outside of the community without a wheelchair. The client's wheelchair has faulty brakes and she does not have the financial independence to have it replaced. Her son also suffers from his own mental health difficulties and is unable to care for her. Diapers (Size 5XL - Baby Pants): A household of 3 residing in a rental 2-room flat in Yishun requires assistance with diapers. The household consists of a 33-year-old mother, 34-year-old father and 8-year-old daughter. The family is unable to afford the diapers due to financial constraints. The daughter has been diagnosed with Trisomy 9 and is fully dependent on others for her activities of daily living (ADL), with significant difficulties in communication (non-verbal) and psychomotor skills. Due to her condition, she requires diapers on an ongoing basis. Ensuring a consistent supply of diapers is essential for her hygiene, comfort and dignity, as well as to support her caregivers in managing her daily care needs.The family would be truly grateful for any kind donation of diapers, and your generosity would make a meaningful difference in supporting their daughter's daily care and wellbeing.
