Client has recently gave birth and there is increase in financial expenses. Currently, family is a family of 7 (5 children) and husband is the only breadwinner. As such, they requested for diapers for the 2nd youngest child.

The family is appealing for household items, as they are unable to afford to purchase or replace these items on their own. Assistance with the items would help to improve the family’s living conditions and ease their financial burden.

Their current refrigerator is old and no longer reliable, and she is concerned that it may stop working at any time. As the family observes halal practices, they require a new fridge or one previously owned by a Muslim family. A donated refrigerator would enable the family to safely store fresh food and groceries and support the preparation of daily meals.

Client (F/23) and client's husband (M/24) are a young couple staying in a 1-room rental flat with their newborn baby girl. In June 2026, 1 month before their baby was due, client's husband lost his employment and has since been working as a grab food delivery driver to support the family. He is unable to sustain full-time employment as he helps care for their baby in the morning until afternoon, working until late at night. Client is also unable to resume employment until their baby is older. As such, milk powder and diapers will support the family greatly by lessening financial stressors for the new parents.

Client relies on ComCare financial assistance to meet her basic daily needs. Her sofa chair has recently broken, and she is appealing for a donated single-seater sofa chair to meet her basic household needs.

However, client has been struggling to get milk powder for her 3 year old grandson recently as she has faced with loss of income due to her health concerns and caregiving responsibilities.
