Community Services & Programmes @ Children’s Society is seeking 4 packets of Drypers Pants (Large size) for a family in need. The family consists of three members, with the father as the sole breadwinner. His income is barely sufficient to cover the family’s daily expenses, while the mother is the primary caregiver as they are currently in the process of securing a school placement for their child. A donation of diapers would greatly help to ease the family’s financial burden and ensure that the child’s essential needs are met. Client is a divorced 66-year-old elderly female client who is in need of a new manual wheelchair. She suffers from some chronic medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidaemia. She previously suffered a fall this year and was hospitalised, and ever since, has been having mobility issues and is unable to walk. She is frail and is unable to ambulate within her own home and outside of the community without a wheelchair. The client's wheelchair has faulty brakes and she does not have the financial independence to have it replaced. Her son also suffers from his own mental health difficulties and is unable to care for her.
