Mother is the primary caregiver for an infant and a toddler, with no support from family. She is in between jobs due to complex domestic challenges and needs a working handphone so that she may remain in contact with social services for continued support for her and her children.

Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society is seeking a Muslim‑friendly two‑door fridge for one of our service users. The family comprises a mother living in a rental flat with her husband, their two special‑needs children, and three other children from her previous marriage. Due to the children’s conditions, they have specific dietary preferences and requirements. As such, the mother frequently cooks at home to ensure meals are suitable for the children while also helping the family manage their expenses. Although the family currently owns a fridge, the freezer compartment is no longer functional. They are unable to afford the cost of repair or replacement. A working two‑door fridge is essential for safely storing fresh ingredients and preparing nutritious meals for the children. The family is hoping to receive a new or secondhand halal‑friendly fridge to better preserve their food and support their daily needs. Delivery will need to be arranged directly by the kind donor. The client needs two Toyogo storage boxes with wheels, to organise her sentimental belongings, which are currently cluttering the walkway and creating a safety hazard, especially as she is frail. She is also facing financial difficulties, making it difficult for her to afford a shelf.

The client is frail and requires a shelf to organise household items for easy access to daily necessities. Financial difficulties make it challenging for her to afford one.

The beneficiary has been on hospitalisation leave and is currently unable to work. His wife is the sole breadwinner of the household and is responsible for all family and living expenses. The couple has two school-going children who are still in education. The beneficiary’s current mobile phone is not able to access Singpass. He requires a smartphone to enable access to Singpass, WhatsApp, and other essential applications for communication and daily needs.

Client is staying in a 2- room rental flat with 2 children, 7 yr old and 4 yr old. They are faced with debts issues such that they are unable to afford a new fridge and their current fridge is spoilt and is in need of a new fridge.

Will need any size of refrigerator urgently. The refrigerator of a low income family, with 3 children of which one is still in secondary school, was spoilt for a few months already and they are living without a functional refrigerator. They were unable to store any frozen food nor chill any items.

Family requires a working washing machine. Client is very overwhelmed with other stressors and requires support in sourcing for item.

Beneficiary doesn't have a mobile phone. A working phone (minimum Apple iOS 15.0, or Android 12.0 and above) would help him stay connected with his support network, and access employment opportunities.

Client is a single mother with an infant. She lost her job and is currently relying on SSO FA for her and her baby's day-to-day expenses. (MEl)
