Client is a divorcee with eight children aged between 8 and 22 years old. Having recently secured a HDB rental flat, she requires assistance in obtaining essential household appliances, such as a refrigerator and washing machine, to support the family's transition into their new home.

Client has been diagnosed with early-onset dementia (Alzheimer’s disease) and has experienced a significant decline in both his cognitive and physical functioning over the past year. He is currently non-verbal and fully dependent on a full-time caregiver. His wife is unable to maintain employment as she needs to be his primary caregiver. Client's current existing wheelchair is no longer adequate to provide postural support. Client requires a Tilt-in-space wheelchair (16” width × 21” depth) . Given the family’s financial constraints and depleting finances, the family seeks donation for the wheelchair.

Due to her ongoing health issues, including difficulties with her eyes as well as spine and hip concerns, she will be working from home to manage her health while continuing to support her family financially. The family consists of three members, with the father as the sole breadwinner. His income is barely sufficient to cover the family’s daily expenses, while the mother is the primary caregiver as they are currently in the process of securing a school placement for their child. Client is part of a family unit facing financial constraints. Both parents have health conditions that limit their ability to work, affecting the family’s ability to meet their household needs, including the purchase of standing fans and an air purifier.

This family consists of 4 children. The older child already has access to a tablet provided by the grandparents, while the younger child do not have their own devices. Mother shared that child would benefit from a tablet who has an interest in Mathematics, to support her learning and use of the calculator. Mother also intends to implement screen-time limits.
