Grant a Wish

Client and her husband are staying in a rental unit and are unemployed as they are retirees and caregivers for 2 young children under their care. They are dependent on financial assistance to meet their daily expenses. Client is recovering from a recent onset of an illness and is not able to purchase a double decker bed.

A 61-year-old elderly woman living in a 2 room rental flat is on SSO ComCare assistance and unable to work due to medical reasons. She has recently disposed of her worn-out bed and is currently in need of a sofa bed. We would greatly appreciate any donation of a sofa bed to improve her sleeping condition.

Client lives with his wife and five children in a two room HDB rental flat. Client's right arm is paralyzed since an accident in 1993 and constantly experiences dizziness and pain in his eyes, chest and arm. He is medically assessed to be permanently unfit for work, even though his wife has a blue collar job that the family of 7 relies on for daily need. Of the 5 children, 2 older children are currently working part time so that they can reduce their financial dependence on the family. The 3 younger children are still schooling. Despite the older children working part-time, the combined income is insufficient to replace the household fridge, kettle and microwave oven. We are thus seeking a kind donation of a microwave oven (please reach out to us, or refer to our other posts if you are able to assist with the requests for the fridge or kettle).

However, his bicycle recently broke down. The bicycle support can help him in transport and possibly on getting extra income through delivery.

He is unemployed and will benefit from pre-loved items to support his adjustment and stability.He would greatly appreciate pre-loved no-drill curtain blinds for his room and living room and organising containers.
