Family has 5 young children and finances have been very tight. Their non-stick pot and pan recently spoilt and they are hope to receive new ones to cook the family meals.

The family is currently receiving SSO ComCare assistance. The father is the sole income earner and works on an ad-hoc basis in the logistics sector. His irregular income is insufficient to adequately support the household of four family members. The family requires assistance to replace their queen-size bed and mattress. Due to their financial constraints, they are unable to afford the replacement on their own and would benefit from support.

Client is a single mother caring for her 9-year-old daughter and is currently dependent on ComCare assistance to meet the family's basic needs. Following an incident involving her ex-partner, essential kitchen fixtures, including the kitchen cabinet and gas stove, were damaged and are no longer usable. As client has limited financial means and is prioritising her daughter's daily needs and household expenses, she is unable to replace these items independently. The loss of these kitchen facilities has affected the family's ability to prepare meals safely and conveniently at home. Donations of a kitchen cabinet and gas stove, or suitable replacement items, would help restore a safe and functional living environment while alleviating the family's financial strain during this challenging period.

The household comprises of 26-year-old client and her 3-year-old daughter who reside in a rental unit. Client has been separated from her spouse and is undergoing divorce proceedings. Client has been the primary caregiver given her strained communication with her spouse regarding the care needs of their daughter. Client is currently in the third trimester of her second pregnancy and coping with symptoms such as nausea, lethargy/fatigue and low mood which has impacted her employment functioning and her financial capacity in sustaining the basic needs and expenses of the household. Client hopes to seek support in securing a pre-loved tv console. Client would need help with delivery arrangements and covering of delivery costs.

Client lives in a 4-room HDB flat with her elderly parents, husband and their four young children, aged 11, 6, 5 and 1. The family is currently facing financial challenges due to bankruptcy and the monthly household income is insufficient to meet the family's basic needs. We are seeking support for an elderly couple who are currently living in a 1-room rental flat. The couple has no children and relies solely on each other for support. The wife, a Permanent Resident, suffers from chronic knee problems and is unable to walk long distances comfortably. Recently, the husband experienced a serious fall that required surgery. As a result of his injury and recovery needs, he lost his job and is currently unable to work. The family is facing financial difficulties and is presently awaiting the outcome of their application for financial assistance. Despite their circumstances, the couple remains remarkably resilient and frugal. They are not accustomed to purchasing new items and make every effort to repair and reuse what they have. Rather than replacing torn clothing, they carefully sew and patch them to extend their use. They are humble in their needs and are simply looking for functional household items that can improve their daily living. Their current dining table has become unstable and poses a safety concern. They are therefore requesting a simple foldable table that can provide a safe and sturdy surface for their daily meals and activities. In addition, their chest of drawers, which is over 20 years old, has deteriorated to the point where the drawers are difficult to open and close, making it challenging for them to access and organise their belongings.
