69-year-old man who lives alone in a 1-room HDB public rental flat and faces significant health, financial and social challenges. He is single, never married, with no children and no siblings. He is currently unemployed, has no regular income and experiences multiple medical conditions, diabetes, hypertension and depression. He spends most of his time at home due to his declining health and sleeps on an old, thin, worn and torn mattress that is infested with bed bugs. Client is troubled by bedbug bites and is unable to sleep as a result. Donation of a new mattress will greatly support client in addressing concerns with bed bugs at home.
