Grant a Wish

Family has 2 primary school-going children, and client is heavily pregnant, due to deliver end July. They have just shifted into their public rental flat. She has been unable to work due to pregnancy complications and husband was unable to work for a long period due to no LTVP approval. It was recently approved and he is currently going through the process to get his pass before he can apply for a job. which will take time. There is thus an  urgency given the needs of a pregnant woman with her young children and future newborn who will have cold showers. Client (F/26) is currently not working. Her husband (M/30) is struggling with mental health issues and is now receiving treatment. They have two young children (M/4) and (M/8 months) and require milk and diapers. The family is facing serious financial hardship and is struggling to afford basic living expenses and to buy kids essentials.

Client is a blind man staying with his 3 school-going children and wife in 2 room rental flat. Wife is chronically unfit for work due to mental health issues, while client relies on SSO and tries to earn income by working ad-hoc jobs that are available. He hopes to get a second-hand iPhone so that he can access mobile services more easily, as Singapore Association for the Visually Handicapped is also offering accessibility classes with iPhone's accessible features. This will help him to be more independent while maintaining access to communications and job opportunities.

Client lives in a 4-room HDB flat with her elderly parents, husband and their four young children, aged 11, 6, 5 and 1. The family is currently facing financial challenges due to bankruptcy and the monthly household income is insufficient to meet the family's basic needs. This is a family of 11. Client has 7 children (aged 7 to 25). Recently, client's 2 grandchildren were under her care as their mother is incarcerated. Client is unfit for work with her chronic health issues and relies on SSO to support her 4 children. The family requested for vacuum cleaner for easier and faster and cleaner cleaning around the house.

This family is raising three children, two of whom have been diagnosed with autism and require frequent medical appointments and specialised care. The mother serves as the primary caregiver and is unable to work due to her caregiving responsibilities, while the father's income as a car washer remains unstable. With limited financial resources, the family has been unable to purchase a clothing wardrobe to properly store their belongings. A donated wardrobe would help them organise their clothes to create a tidier and comfortable environment for the family.

Client is a single individual experiencing homelessness and unemployment. Client lacks both financial and social resources and is currently under FSC support to obtain stable accommodation and employment. Client's mobile phone has recently broken down and he does not have enough finances to afford repair. A working mobile phone would enable client to be promptly informed for job openings and increase his chances of regaining employment. 

The family of five, comprising two working adults and three young children (aged 15, 12, and 4), is currently experiencing significant financial strain due to multiple debt obligations. With a fourth child expected in October 2026, the family is working hard to stabilise their finances while meeting their daily living needs. Despite both parents being employed, their income is largely committed to debt repayments and essential household expenses, leaving little capacity for non-essential purchases. Their television set has recently spoilt and they are unable to replace it at this time. A television set would provide meaningful recreational value for quality family time, and educational value to the children, particularly the youngest child aged 4, who benefits from age-appropriate educational programming.
