The Helping Hand (THH) is a Volunteer Welfare Organization affiliated with the National Council of Social Service. We run a home providing drug rehabilitation and after-care services to male drug addicts and ex-offenders in Singapore. This is a residential programme carried out in our agency home, which is graciously provided by the Singapore government in recognition of our services to the community. We have a bakery section that serves as a training channel for residents to gain baking experience, preparing them for employment after leaving THH. The bakery section is also open to the public for pastry orders, operating as an enterprise to help support THH’s expenses. The bakery section would like to have a cake display counter measuring 120cm in length, 80cm in width, and 110cm in height, to keep the pastry items fresh for customers to purchase.

Family requires Grow Stage 1 Milk Powder and diapers size M for their grandchild. Presently, grandfather is the main breadwinner of the family and face difficulties coping with the milk and diapers cost on top of family's other needs.

I am writing on behalf of a 78-year-old male client diagnosed with mild dementia who is currently living alone. During my visits with him, it was observed that he spends most of his time at home by himself, aside from occasionally going out to nearby coffee shops for his meals. As part of our efforts to encourage him to engage in more meaningful daily activities to help slow cognitive decline, we explored possible activities that he might enjoy. During our conversation, he shared that he used to play the accordion in the past and expressed how meaningful it would be if he could have one again. He mentioned that having an accordion at home would help him stay mentally engaged and alleviate the boredom he often experiences when spending long hours alone. When we asked if he would be open to us helping to source an accordion for him, he responded with great enthusiasm and happiness. Therefore, we would like to kindly request for an accordion musical instrument on his behalf, as it could greatly support his cognitive engagement, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. A 61-year-old elderly woman living in a 2 room rental flat is on SSO ComCare assistance and unable to work due to medical reasons. She has recently disposed of her worn-out bed and is currently in need of a sofa bed. We would greatly appreciate any donation of a sofa bed to improve her sleeping condition.

Family of parents and 2 school-going children are living in a 2-room rental flat. Mum is unable to work due to health issues, while Dad is the sole breadwinner. He is unemployed and will benefit from pre-loved items to support his adjustment and stability.He would greatly appreciate pre-loved no-drill curtain blinds for his room and living room and organising containers.

Family has 4 children (one infant and three school-going children) who requires a washing machine as their current one is not working well.
