Client (F/30) lives in a 2 room HDB rental flat in Sengkang with her young daughter (F/2). Her spouse (M/25), has been in prison since Nov 2024. As client is caught up with caregiving for her daughter with limited family support, she is unable to work and is a housewife. She is trying to enrol her daughter in playgroup so that she is able to earn minimally a part time income. As she recently moved into Sengkang (previously lodging with her mother-in-law), she does not have a fridge in the new house and is unable to afford one. She is hence requesting for a second hand (muslim-owned) fridge or a brand new one. Thanks!

Client is not working because of mental health issues. He has no financial resource to purchase a brand new or used fans.(Isk)

Client, 25 years old, is a homemaker and caregiver to her 3 young children (2, 4 and 8 years old). She is currently pregnant with her 4th child and due to give birth in 1-2 months' time. The family stays in a 2-room HDB rental flat. There is high stress in this family - spousal conflicts, emotional & mental health struggles, irregular employment and income by husband, and developmental delays in oldest child. The family relies on SSO assistance for their basic needs. They are getting ready for the birth of their child and require the above items to provide adequate care for their child. It will also help parents to better cope with the needs and care of all their children.

Clients have 4 young children and are expecting another child. Husband is the primary breadwinner at home. He uses public transport and bicycle to go to work. However, his bicycle recently broke down. The bicycle support can help him in transport and possibly on getting extra income through delivery.

We are seeking a gas stove (for LPG/tank connection) for a client who has recently moved into a new rental flat following a period of family violence. As she is working hard to furnish her home fast, a functional stove is a top priority. For safety reasons, we kindly request items that are in good, clean, and safe condition. Family requires a refrigerator with a freezer to safely store their food items. Their current financial situation makes it difficult for them to afford a replacement.

The client is a middle-aged single mother and the sole breadwinner caring for four children independently. All her children are still schooling, and her youngest child, aged 3, requires ongoing supplies such as diapers and milk. She is not earning a high income, which places additional financial strain on her ability to meet the family’s daily needs. Providing assistance in this area would help to alleviate her financial stress and support the well-being of her children.

I’m currently supporting two formerly homeless clients who have just moved into an empty HDB rental flat in Bedok last week. A washing machine would make a meaningful difference in helping them manage their laundry independently and settle into their new home with greater comfort and dignity.
