While her condition has improved, she is facing difficulties securing employment that is fit for her current condition. Client is unemployed, living in a 1-room rental flat and without any family support. She hopes for a bicycle to allow her to do Grab to provide for herself.

The family comprises seven household members residing in a 2-room flat. The husband is the sole breadwinner, while the client is medically unfit for employment due to multiple chronic illnesses. The client’s daughters are also unable to work as they have chronic health conditions of their own and are the primary caregivers to their mother, their elderly grandmother, and a nephew who is currently in primary school. Due to the overcrowded living environment, family members experience frequent illnesses, which may be exacerbated by poor indoor air quality. The family would benefit from the provision of an air purifier to improve air circulation and reduce potential health triggers, thereby supporting the household’s overall health and wellbeing.

We are seeking support for a senior who attends daycare at our nursing home and relies on a motorised wheelchair for his daily mobility. His current motorised wheelchair has recently stopped working. A replacement motorised wheelchair is urgently needed to help him move safely and comfortably at home and within the nursing home.

A 58-year-old widowed mother is currently living with her adult daughter, who is unable to work and has difficulty looking for jobs due to suspected intellectual disability. With ongoing financial difficulties and debts, the family has been struggling to maintain their home environment and replace essential household items. Their current bedsheets have become heavily soiled and require replacement, but they are unable to afford new ones. The family is seeking support for clean bedsheets with pillowcases to provide them with a more comfortable and dignified living environment.

Single pregnant woman in her 30s requires a washing machine in her 1-room rental flat. Previous washing machine has spoiled and she is currently waiting for financial assistance application.

Due to housing instability, she is now staying in a shelter after being evicted by her former roommate. Unfortunately, her phone has become faulty, making it very difficult for her to stay in contact with her social workers, healthcare providers, and essential support services. She does not have family or a support network she can rely on. A working phone would greatly help her remain connected to the help she urgently needs and support her in rebuilding stability in her life.

Client, F/26, is married with 4 young children (ages 2m - 8y). She is a homemaker and caregiver to her 4 children. The family stays in a 2-room HDB rental flat. There is high stress in this family - spousal conflicts, emotional & mental health struggles, irregular employment and income by husband, and developmental delays in oldest child. The family relies on SSO assistance for their basic needs. Currently, with their washing machine and dryer spoiled, they have to rely on laundromat services which is very costly for the family. These items will help the family in managing their finances and caregiving duties.

Client is a single mother caring for 4 young children below 12 years old. She is currently unemployed after losing her job and is presently reliant on formal support systems for assistance. Due to financial constraints, she is unable to afford essential household items and would greatly appreciate support through the donation of a queen-sized foldable mattress for herself and her 3 children.
