I am reaching out on behalf of an elderly couple whom I visit regularly. They have no children and very few friends or visitors. Their television has been spoilt for a few years but they were afraid to ask for donations as I've helped them with several issues already. It was only during my recent house visit that I noticed the TV was never on, and that was when they opened up to me that it has been spoilt for a few years. While it may seem like a small thing to some, it was a significant part of their daily life—providing comfort, companionship, and a way to stay engaged with the world around them. Single mother with 3yr old daughter with mild eczema, just managed to move to new rental flat of their own. They need water heater with installation for showering. Having water heater will ease showering time for the little girl, who fears showering in cold water.

Supporting low-income families. The family kitchen caught fire. The Dad had slipped and fallen 1 day before Raya while trying to put out a fire in their kitchen (kitchen hood caught fire due to a shock circuit) and resulted in having stitches on his ankle. The Dad and Mum managed to put out the fire but no mean to replace the hood and the burnt kitchen cabinet. The family has no financial assistance yet, as they are receiving some help from relatives. The Dad lost his job in early Jan and is still currently unemployed. Mum is a homemaker -Taking care of C2 (16mth) and grandmother who has dementia. The Dad is hoping to get a job soon from his job applications. Meanwhile, will be grateful to any donor who be able to provide support on their kitchen issue.
