As such, the mother frequently cooks at home to ensure meals are suitable for the children while also helping the family manage their expenses. Although the family currently owns a fridge, the freezer compartment is no longer functional. They are unable to afford the cost of repair or replacement. A working two‑door fridge is essential for safely storing fresh ingredients and preparing nutritious meals for the children.
