The client is a 29-year-old single mother raising two young children with special needs, aged 6 and 2. She lives in a shared household with her mother, sister, and brother. Within the family, caregiving and financial responsibilities are concentrated on the client and her brother, as her mother has ongoing health issues and her sister has an undiagnosed intellectual disability that limits her ability to work independently. The household is managing multiple caregiving demands with limited income. One of the mattresses in the home is torn, worn out, and unhygienic, but the family is unable to afford a replacement. Support for a single-sized mattress will provide a clean and safe sleeping space, helping to improve rest, comfort, and overall daily functioning.

Adults with special needs with low-incomes require a front-load 8 - 9kg washing machine. Their current washing machine is faulty. They live independently in the community. They would appreciate if donor can arrange and pay for delivery.

She prefers cooking home cooked meals for her daughter and herself; however, currently her stove is ot working and has been buying food which has increased her expenses. She would like a gas stove, with 2 burners to resume cooking.

The family relies on SSO assistance for their basic needs. They are getting ready for the birth of their child and require the above items to provide adequate care for their child. It will also help parents to better cope with the needs and care of all their children.

She is requesting milk support for the 4 month old as the current milk she has was affected by the SFA milk powder recalls recently.
