Client is a young mother currently expecting her second child. The family has recently secured a rental flat but is unable to fully move in as they currently lack essential household appliances. Her partner is engaged in irregular employment, resulting in an unstable income that is insufficient to fully support the household at this time, particularly after recent expenses such as the rental deposit and activation of utilities (electricity and water). The family would greatly benefit from a basic household item such as a standing fan to help improve ventilation and provide relief from heat, supporting a more comfortable and liveable home environment during this transition period.

The client is no longer able to work due to multiple health issues, including double vision. The family is currently relying on financial assistance and subsidies to meet their daily needs. In addition, the client has taken on the role of sole caregiver for his late friend’s adult child, whose parent passed away from cancer in 2024. The adult child is currently seeking employment. The family is in need of essential household items, including a cupboard and a wardrobe for proper storage of belongings and clothing. The existing furniture was obtained second-hand and is damaged, with a broken back panel that requires taping to hold it together. (Cla)

Client is an elderly female (F/75) living with her elderly brother (M/72). Her brother is currently hospitalised due to a hip injury. Both of them sleep on a mattress on the floor. She requested for a single bed frame with mattress for her brother when he is discharged from the hospital. Both her and her brother do not have much family support and rely on each other. The single bed would aid him in getting in and out of bed given his current condition.

Client is currently staying in a 4-room HDB with her husband, helper and 4 children. The couple has high credit debts to pay and are both gainfully employed to cover the family expenses. However, due to their debt and high dependents, the family continues to experience difficulties in finances. Recently, the washing machine caused a power trip. Family urgently needs a new washing machine due to the high number of people at home.

I would like to request for a smart TV (able to watch YouTube) for my client who's struggling with finances and just managed to move into a public rental flat. It would give her some comfort as she stays alone. One of her favourite activities when she has time to rest is to watch YouTube, but currently she is only able to watch on her phone. The smart TV will be a great value-add to her life. Thank you so much! PPIS FSCW RELIGHT would like to request for 10 or more shampoo bottles for its beneficiaries. Thank you! RELIGHT is an initiative by PPIS FSC (West) to actively support beneficiaries through disbursement of donated items from individuals and corporate donors. These include daily necessities and fresh produce, which is distributed every quarter of the year.

Client is a diabetic patient who also experiences ongoing gastrointestinal issues. She suffers from frequent diarrhoea and urinary urgency, which has resulted in her needing to use diapers daily. The client often feels physically weak, making it difficult for her to secure stable employment. She is known to SSO and currently receives financial assistance. While she has adequate informal support, the client prefers not to trouble her support network and will only seek help when she has insufficient funds. She stays alone in a rental flat.
