Washing machine and Fridge for Sole caregiver to a stroke survivor
Client is the sole caregiver to her mother, a stroke survivor.
Due to family conflict, they were displaced from their previous home and had been staying in a shelter. Over time, through consistent effort and stable employment, the client successfully secured a 2-room BTO flat. While waiting for the BTO to be completed, they have now moved into a rental flat.
The flat is unfurnished, and as the sole breadwinner, she earns enough to cover her daily expenses and her mother’s care needs, but is unable to afford larger household appliances at this time.
We are looking for donations of a refrigerator and a washing machine
These items will greatly support the household’s daily living and caregiving needs, especially given her mother’s mobility challenges.

Rehabilitation Exercise Bicycle for elderly
The client is a single elderly living alone. Due to weak legs and high fall risk, she has suffered falls, one of which led her to being hospitalized and resulted in a fracture. Her legs are weak due to muscle loss. She also has multiple chronic health conditions, thus, increasing her vulnerability.
Having strong legs is important to increase her self-efficacy and independence, as well as home safety and assurance of fall prevention.
As such, it will be very helpful and she will be very appreciative if she can receive help to have a rehabilitation exercise bicycle that helps with post-op recovery and daily workout, in the safety of her home.

With perseverance, the family has successfully obtained a rental flat and is now in the process of rebuilding stability. They are currently seeking donations for essential household items to help them settle into their new home, specifically a queen sized bed, cupboard and drawers. The support would go a long way in helping this family start anew with dignity and comfort.
