Caregiver is in need of baby cot for his grandson. Child's mother is incarcerated and lives with grandfather, however, he is currently unemployed due to chronic medical conditions. He lives in a 2 room rental flat with a family of 5. The family is facing financial hardship and is struggling to afford basic necessities for his grandson. Thank you

Family of 5 stays in a 4-room flat with 4 other members with chronic medical and mental health conditions. Father with a heart condition and hearing impairment and he was retrenched from work recently. Client is currently the sole breadwinner for the family. Mother is unfit for work due to her seizures and deteriorating leg strength. One of the family’s mattress is sinking due to wear and tear. They would like to replace a super single mattress.

A single mother is currently caring for her 12-year-old daughter on her own. Due to her health conditions, including diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as her caregiving responsibilities, the mother is currently not working. The family shared that 2 days ago, the springs on their queen-sized mattress have started to pop out, and is no longer usable. As a result, my client and her daughter have been sleeping without a mattress, which has been causing them back pain. The family is financially unable to afford a replacement and is seeking donation of a queen-sized mattress. Assistance from the donor to cover transport arrangement and delivery costs would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
