Client is a 68-year-old widow residing in a 1-room rental flat. Due to her physical health challenges and strained relationships with her children, who also have their own financial challenges, the client is mainly sustaining on financial assistance. As her washing machine recently broke down, she has been hand-washing her clothes, which have exacerbated her health issues. The client, who is a fall risk, would greatly benefit from a washing machine donation!

Community Services & Programmes @ Children's Society requires 4 tins of Sustagen all-in-one chocolate formula milk powder (1-9 years old) for the client's child. Client requested for this formula milk as recommended by the child's doctor as she is not suited to drink normal formula milk due to weight gain. Client is the only breadwinner in the family as the child's father has been declared medically unfit to work. Client is a young mother of an 8-month old, navigating complex family relationships and multiple caregiving responsibilities. Her child is beginning to crawl around, and would benefit from additional safeguards installed (i.e. baby gate).

My client is a widow (her husband passed away in April due to a heart attack) and since then, she has to singlehandedly take care of her 2 very young children (aged 5 and 2 years old respectively) while still grieving from the death of her husband. She has just received the keys to her rental flat and has shifted into it . However, as she has not found employment yet (she has started to send out resumes after slowing recovering from the grieving of her husband), she is unable to afford the more expensive household items such as fridge, washing machine etc. My client informed me earlier today that her aunt has kindly donated a washing machine to her. Hence, she just needs a fridge now. The fridge is important since she can cook at home (instead of eating outside) using the frozen groceries and hence can save some money. She can also use the fridge to store the unfinished / leftover food and heat them for consumption the next day. This will again help her to save money on her food expenses. Those more easily perishable items such as milk (for her children), cheese etc can also be stored in the fridge as well. Besides the savings on food expenses, my client children can also be spared from eating outside regularly which might not be the healthier option for them. By cooking at home, my client can control the oil and other ingredients and will be able to cook less oily and more nutritious food for them. In view of the above, I hope that any kind donor can help to secure a fridge for my client. My client is a resilient client, and her situation can be improved once she has secured a job. However, in the interim, she will need the kind assistance of PassITOn donors so that she can secure a fridge and thereby save some money (especially on the food expenses). The client is currently incarcerated, and the primary caregiver is now the stepfather. The family of six is experiencing significant financial strain. With one young child (aged 4), the stepfather is finding it difficult to meet daily needs on limited resources. To help ease their financial burden, the family is in need of Diapers – Any brand, XL size (suitable for a 21kg child). We are seeking a kind donor to provide the above item.

Client from a low-income family is requesting for a vacuum cleaner with strong suction as her existing one is not working.

A family of 2 includes a father and his 7 year old daughter who lives in a 2 room rental flat, where he is supporting the child on his own while his wife is incarcerated. He struggles with full time caregiving while working part time as he has to take care of her when she is home. As his daughter sometimes bring along a handphone to school in case she needs to contact him for any important matters, a handphone is necessary for father and child communication as he is her only caregiver. Currently, the handphone that she is using (Samsung Galaxy A13) is not working anymore and father hopes that she is able to receive another set as he is not able to afford a new one. Client is 48 and is the main caregiver for his 69 years old mother who is dependent on client for her daily activities. Due to her mother’s condition, client is not able to work. They are living in 3 room HDB flat with minimal support and have financial constraint in managing day to day expenses. Client’s mother has a lot of medication which are required to be kept in a refrigerator. However, client’s current refrigerator’s space is unable to accommodate. Hence, client is requesting for a 500L refrigerator meet the need.

Client's health condition deteriorated quickly after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is unfit for work and her husband is unemployed to provide full-time care of her and their children. She has grown weak and can only take in milk for her daily nutritional needs.

Client is elderly female, 73 years old staying alone in rental unit. Her washing machine has broken down and in need of a replacement.
