Grant a Wish

Client (M/57) is bedridden due to multiple strokes, a heart attack, and amputation of digits due to chronic health conditions. He is being looked after by his elderly mother (F/87). Elderly mother would like to have a preferable new hospital bed for client as his old one is currently broken (side rails).(Dyl)

"Client is a 79-year-old elderly woman living alone, facing some challenges with mobility — struggle a bit to rise from her bed or chair. Despite financial hardships, she remains determined and independent. Straw mat is for her friend who is also a client at our FSC who plans to sleep at client's house occassionally. Client's friend prefers straw mat instead of usual mattress.(Farh)

Beneficiary is the main caregiver of her granddaughter. Parents are currently incarcerated. Beneficiary will greatly appreciate support with milk and diapers, due to the high costs. (Fel)

Beneficiary has chronic health issues, that has affected his vision and mobility. He is not able to work due to not being able to walk and see well. He is currently receiving FFFA, but requires a microwave to heat the food up. (Fel)

Family consist of a family of seven. Client's husband is the sole breadwinner of the family because client is currently pregnant and has to provide caregiving for the younger children at home. Family hopes to prepare for the baby items and requires a foldable playpen to provide a safe space for the baby to rest and play. (Mel)

The household currently comprises six members, and the client is pregnant, with an expected delivery date in August 2025. Her husband is the sole breadwinner, having only just secured employment. They recently received the keys to their new 3-room BTO flat. While the family is currently receiving financial assistance, this support is scheduled to end in September 2025, leaving them at risk of financial instability during a critical life transition. The client has expressed difficulties in acquiring basic furniture and household appliances to set up their new residence. They are also some challenges in preparing for the arrival of their newborn, with limited resources to purchase essential baby items and supplies.(Isk)

A mother, the sole caregiver of 3 young children and breadwinner of the household, has requested for a new fridge, noting as her current fridge is old and has been inconsistent in maintaining the right temperatures e.g. her freezer would become warm and thaw out her food. She hopes to receive an energy-saving fridge to keep her electrical bills low.

Senior has mobility issues and difficulty walking around. Walking stick with LED light is preferred to guide senior when she wake up to use the toilet in the night-time.

Single mum with school going teenage children is requesting for a sofa (2 seater) urgently. The family’s current sofa has worn out and torn due to prolonged use.They live in a rental flat and there is no additional income to replace as client is the sole breadwinner for the family.
