The Helping Hand is organising a Chinese New Year dinner for our beneficiaries on 28th February 2026. We are looking for a donation of 120 Mandarin Oranges to give to 60 beneficiaries. Delivery can be made directly to The Helping Hand, 819, Upper Serangoon Road, S(534 678) before 28th February 2026 4pm.

Client and husband are facing challenges in finding employment at this time. Client is also experiencing health issues, which make job-seeking more difficult. They are needing support to meet their 3 young children's needs. They require Drypers Pants size XXL, 4 packets are used per month. Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society is in need of new/used but still in good condition 650L 2-door refrigerator (Halal) to support the L3MPH Dormitory. Single mum has a 14 year old son who just completed his back surgery and is due to be discharged soon to recover at home. As they are staying in a two room public rental flat, the space is very cramped for him to use a wheelchair at home. Hence, the family is hoping to request for an ergonomic office chair which can recline, to help him move around at home with more ease.

Family of 8 is facing financial strain after father lost his job and is now in the process of job-seeking. They are looking for donation of milk and/or diaper. Direct delivery to their home in Buona Vista or our centre in Commonwealth is appreciated!

Client is currently in her third trimester and the primary caregiver to her five children ranging between the ages of 1 -16. The household resides in a 2-room HDB public rental flat. Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society is seeking a 2 doors fridge, no other preferences for a family in need. The family will be moving into their new rental flat soon, but due to limited financial means, they are struggling to furnish their home. Their daughter has just begun her Junior College education, which has placed additional strain on their budget as they work to provide her with essential school items such as uniforms and a scientific calculator. We hope to ease the family’s financial burden by supporting them with basic home furnishings. Delivery will need to be arranged directly by the kind donor. Client is the sole caregiver to her mother, a stroke survivor. Due to family conflict, they were displaced from their previous home and had been staying in a shelter. Over time, through consistent effort and stable employment, the client successfully secured a 2-room BTO flat. While waiting for the BTO to be completed, they have now moved into a rental flat. The flat is unfurnished, and as the sole breadwinner, she earns enough to cover her daily expenses and her mother’s care needs, but is unable to afford larger household appliances at this time. We are looking for donations of a refrigerator and a washing machine These items will greatly support the household’s daily living and caregiving needs, especially given her mother’s mobility challenges.

This family was displaced due to ongoing family issues and had to seek temporary shelter. Despite being born with a blood condition that makes injuries potentially dangerous, the father continues to work long hours to support his family. He is deeply committed to his children’s well-being, ensuring they attend school regularly and have their daily necessities met. The father is a strong self-advocate and remains focused on securing the best possible future for his family, even in the face of current challenges. With perseverance, the family has successfully obtained a rental flat and is now in the process of rebuilding stability. They are currently seeking donations for essential household items to help them settle into their new home, specifically a queen sized bed, cupboard and drawers. The support would go a long way in helping this family start anew with dignity and comfort.
