SSFR @ Children’s Society is seeking a 20-litre home oven for a Muslim family who enjoys baking together. The oven should have both baking and steaming functions, preferably with a convection and steam combination. It will be used only for halal cooking, so it should be easy to clean and safe for family use, with features such as a child lock and a cool-touch door. Client is a 21-year-old single mother who has recently moved into a rental flat with her 1-year-old child. She is currently working full-time while pursuing part-time evening studies to upgrade her qualifications, with the aim of securing better financial stability to provide for her child. Due to her long working hours and caregiving responsibilities, access to a refrigerator is essential for safe storage of milk, baby food, and cooked meals, and would support her ability to manage daily caregiving and household needs effectively.

Client on Long-home-leave wish to learn to use a laptop and to upgrade himself. He is currently under curfew at home and wish to spend his time productively.

Family of 6 with 4 school-going children staying in a 2-room rental flat who requires a television as their current one is faulty. Would greatly appreciate if donor is able to cover transport expenses.

Single elderly gentleman in his 60s living in a 1 room rental in the Kembangan Chai Chee area is requesting for a water heater. The current water heater in his rental flat was left behind by the previous owner and is spoilt. He has also used his Climate vouchers on standing fans as the unit is poorly ventilated at night. He is currently unemployed as he is receiving treatment that would cause him giddiness and fainting spells. He has multiple appointments a month in SGH for treatments and review, covered with MediFund. As he is both an introvert and an orphan, he is relying solely on his own savings and government payouts; he does not have friends who can help. We are requesting for a water heater so that he may have warm water to shower, especially during the rainy season.

Client is a 75 year old lady diagnosed with dementia.
