Family of 4 (with 2 young children) is struggling to make ends meet as father has been unemployed for the past 3 months, and still trying to look for a stable job. Donations will support the family in tiding through this period of father's unemployment as family adjusts to the income dip.

Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society is seeking a Muslim‑friendly two‑door fridge for one of our service users. The family comprises a mother living in a rental flat with her husband, their two special‑needs children, and three other children from her previous marriage. Due to the children’s conditions, they have specific dietary preferences and requirements. As such, the mother frequently cooks at home to ensure meals are suitable for the children while also helping the family manage their expenses. Although the family currently owns a fridge, the freezer compartment is no longer functional. They are unable to afford the cost of repair or replacement. A working two‑door fridge is essential for safely storing fresh ingredients and preparing nutritious meals for the children. The family is hoping to receive a new or secondhand halal‑friendly fridge to better preserve their food and support their daily needs. Delivery will need to be arranged directly by the kind donor. This is a young couple caring for three young children (ages 7, 5, and 1) in a 2-room rental flat. Mother is currently not working due to having to bring her 2 older children for weekly medical appointments, while the father has recently just been fired from his job and is still searching for a employment. The family is requesting for a baby gate to place at the kitchen entrance to increase the children’s safety, especially the 1yo who has started to walk. Donors provision would not only improve family's quality of life and increase the children’s safety but also help to alleviate their financial constraints as they could not afford to purchase a baby gate. A single mother living in a rental flat has a toddler who has recently started running around. She expressed concerns about safety in the home when she is managing her daughter on her own while doing chores. A baby safety gate (no drilling type) would help create a safer environment for the child.

Family of 3 with an 8yo son with non-verbal autism. No income-earners in the family currently. Family had just moved into their 2-room HDB rental flat and have difficulties furnishing their home due to lack of funds. Their TV is currently placed atop 2 luggage as they do not have funds for a TV console.

Elderly living in a rental flat shared that she needs a new fridge, as her current fridge is infested with mini cockroaches. She relies on her fridge to keep her insulins and hence cannot throw the current fridge away until she is able to find a new one. She is on financial assistance for her basic needs and unable to fund for a new fridge. Her son just started working and do not have enough savings to support with the purchase of a new fridge.

Family has expressed a need for a TV rack. Due to financial constraints, they are unable to purchase the rack independently.

Single mother staying in Woodlands rental flat with multiple health conditions (kidney disease stage 5, diabetes, high BP, high cholesterol). The family has a tight budget for their daily needs with one breadwinner and require additional support for the festivities. Client has requested for Hari Raya goodies, household items such as Bedsheets, Sofa Cover and Curtains.
