She has been through a history of abuse by her two sons, who have since abandoned her and do not wish to have any contact with her. The trauma she endured has left her with deep emotional scars, leading to a diagnosis of depression. Currently, she is trying to survive on minimal government assistance (ComCare). She is unable to attend all her medical appointments because she fears accumulating bills that she cannot afford to pay. Seeking for donors who would like to sponsor a sewing machine to our organization, to aid our beneficiaries in an employment opportunity that is catered specifically to women such as ex-offenders or aged caregivers who have challenges committing to full time employment.
