Grant a Wish

We are looking for a wheeled walking frame for an elderly client who recently underwent left knee surgery. She has multiple chronic medical conditions, experiences daily leg cramps, and has reduced bone strength, affecting her balance and mobility. A wheeled walking frame will provide additional stability and support, helping her to ambulate more safely and maintain her independence at home and in the community. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity.

The client is a single mother and sole breadwinner with two children, living in a rental flat. She is scheduled for bilateral knee replacement surgery in September 2026. After the surgery, she will not be able to walk independently and will need a wheelchair to get around.

Client is a 90-year-old elderly who requires a rollator walker to assist with mobility at home. Due to her family's financial constraints, they are unable to afford one.

Client is a single mother caring for her teenage child and elderly mother with multiple health conditions. Due to her mother's high risk of falls and limited mobility, the family is seeking a wheelchair donation to ensure her safety and mobility.

Client resides with her adult son in a HDB public rental flat and has been unemployed for over five years due to multiple medical conditions. Her husband, previously the family’s sole breadwinner, has been in a nursing home for the past three to four years following a stroke, resulting in an outstanding bill of more than $9,000 that the family is unable to manage. Her son, who is still studying in ITE, works part‑time to support basic household needs, but the family continues to face significant financial hardship. Client is heavily dependent on her PMD to visit her husband at the nursing home and run errands. However, her PMD broke down recently. Due to the constraints, Client is unable to afford a PMD and would appreciate the donation of a pre-loved PMD to ensure she can continue visiting her husband and run errands.

Family of 3 (Single mother and 2 school-going children, aged 14 and 12). Client is currently unemployed due to health issues. She is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is currently receiving treatment and undergoing chemotherapy sessions at TTSH. Due to side effect of her chemotherapy session, client is experiencing weakness in her thighs, which has affected her ability to walk for extended periods or distances. An electric wheelchair would assist her in getting around safely, particularly for travelling to and from her medical appointments. Hence, we are seeking donor for a electric wheelchair. Thank you.
