Grant a Wish

Family has 5 school-going children. The two bed frames are for two of the siblings (a brother and sister both in primary school) who are currently sleeping on the same bed. Parents are in significant debt but are motivated to pay it off. However, mother has serious health issues this year which affected her ability to work.

Family of 3 just shifted to a rental flat in Yishun and has no proper furniture in the house.

Family will have 3 young kids and 1 teenager living with 2 adults and need one preferably new super single mattress for teenager.

Family needs to accommodate two kids under 2 moving in soon. Grandma is currently sole caregiver. Teenager currently sleeps on the floor and needs a bed.

Single mum with teen daughter urgently needs 2 mattresses in clean, good condition for sleeping. They recently moved into a public rental flat and need a proper mattress to their donated bed frame to sleep on.

Family of 4 (with 2 children under 2y/o), just moved into their rental unit. They had many items from blessings but couldn't get a bed. They are using a thin foldable mattress now and the youngest have some itch allergies from it.

A young family with limited support and no involvement from extended family members. The mother recently began working earlier this year but had to leave her job due to caregiving responsibilities. The father works as a food delivery rider. The family is experiencing financial hardship, and their home is minimally furnished. Without a proper kitchen, they have been preparing meals on top of their washing machine using a portable stove. Due to the lack of cabinets or tables, electrical appliances are placed directly on the floor. Additionally, there is no adequate storage for kitchen tools such as scissors and knives. The absence of safe storage and a designated space presents a safety risk for their child.

A 63-year-old woman, currently living on her own, has recently received the keys to her one-room rental flat. Prior to this, she had been staying with her sister, so she does not yet have furniture or appliances to make the new space feel like home. She has been diagnosed with diabetes and cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy since January 2025. Due to her health condition, she has been certified unfit for work and is unable to support herself financially. She hopes to receive a foldable dining table as there is not much space in the unit.

Client (58/F) is a single mother of 5 children. She is the sole breadwinner of the family and three children were diagnosed with mental health issues, including the youngest with autism and ADHD. During a meltdown, youngest son damaged the door and it is no longer usable. Without this door working as a barrier, client loses privacy and unable to keep unsafe items away from son (i.e. knives, scissors). Client wishes for any functioning and unwanted doors to be donated to her so she could regain her privacy and safety for son.
