Family of 5 living in a rental flat, including parents, a 5-year-old and a pair 4-year-old twins. Father is the sole breadwinner, while mother is a homemaker. The twins were born premature, leading to weaker immune systems. Father suffers from eczema, while mother has a back injury which prevents her from working. The family is experiencing mould issues in their rental home, which have exacerbated their health problems, particularly the children’s, including frequent high fevers, rashes, eczema, and many hospital visits. Mother has tried to clean the home regularly, air the home, and use an air purifier, but it does not seem to be helping. They are hoping for a dehumidifier to help alleviate the mould and mildew issues.

We are seeking a donated washing machine for a client who is a single mother living with her daughter. She was just discharged from the halfway house a few months ago, realising that her washing machine is broken. She is working round the clock providing for her daughter and herself and is unable to handwash her clothes. Her daughter, who is a full-time student and on a nursing internship has little to no time to wash clothes as well. Without this essential appliance, she struggles to maintain proper hygiene whilst job searching and caring for her daughter. Any working washing machine would be greatly appreciated and would significantly help this family rebuild their lives.
